GET INSPIRED

Music Ministry

Serve on Sunday mornings with our music ministry by singing in the choir or playing hand bells. Anthony Benson is our Music Director.

Youth & Children

Volunteer with our

youth and children’s

ministry.

College Ministry

Cards, notes of encouragement, and care packages are sent to  college students throughout the year, for holidays, exams, or just because we miss them.  We reach out to the college students to let them know that JUMC has not forgotten them and to remind them of the importance of keeping God in their lives as they embark on this phase of their lives.  We try to keep their spirits uplifted.

GET MOVIN'

Active Adults

The Active Adult group is a get-together for senior adults in the church who enjoy going to different places for good food and fellowship. They usually have about 20 interested individuals that attend each monthly trip. They usually meet on the third Wednesday of each month (April-December).

Fellowship Meals

Our church is very active on Wednesday nights!  A meal is provided for anyone who would like to attend from 5:15 until 6:00 pm.  The meal is $5 per person.  The children have hand bell practice, the youth group meets at the Morphew House and adults have choir and hand bell rehearsal.

Let Us Give to God!

We are a generous congregation.  Let’s continue to support our General Fund that supports our church staff.  Let’s support our Food Pantry Fund so we can buy food from Second Harvest Food Bank.  And let’s support the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.  Every week, we provide two to three families with assistance with rent, electricity or fuel oil.  We are a generous congregation.
